Floral Arrangements...For Those Without A Green Thumb
Happy 2018! I know I know...I have been gone for a while. I finished school, and became a licensed RN...that definitely took all of my time and effort. Things have slowed down some, so I am back to tackling projects. :)
I love having flowers around my apartment, I love how they add to the overall decor. But, apparently I lack the ability to grown anything! I have tried getting different types of plants and no matter what I do, they all end up the same way. I figured I'd try something else, so off to the dollar store I went. Here's what I got:
All of my supplies came from my local Dollarama, except for the gold vase, which I picked up from the Salvation Army Thrift Store. Each item cost less than $3.00...which you should know by now makes me very happy.
I removed all the parts of the flowers I didn't need and used the floral foam to hold the flowers in place for one arrangement, and two bags of pebbles I bought at Dollarama for the other.
When it came to the arranging the flowers, I just placed each flower until I liked the finished product. What do you think of the finish product?
I love the way they turned out! The best part...I don't need a green thumb to keep them looking the way they do now!
Until next time, XO D
