Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my DIY transformations as I decorate my home on a budget! Hope you have a nice stay!

Scrap Wood Shelves

Scrap Wood Shelves

Hey Hey Hey! :)

As I have mentioned before, my apartment lacks storage space. To remedy that, I decided to add some shelves using some scrap wood that I had left over from other projects. When your space lacks storage, adding shelves can serve both decorative and functional purposes. Take a look at how I used shelves to increase my storage space.

I use a variation of the supplies shown below for each type of shelf:

Level, Shelf, Wood Stain, Polyurethane Wood Sealer, Spray Paint, Corner Brackets, Sanding Block, Wood Filler, Putty Knife, Gloves, Paint Brushes, Dry Wall Anchors, Screws

1. I added an additional shelf on top of these DIY Restoration Hardware Inspired Shelves for my handbags.

2. Bar Shelf behind my dining table.

3 & 4. I added a stained piece of scrap wood and placed it on top of my radiator as a picture shelf.

5 & 6. I added a shelf on top of the radiator in my kitchen as addtional counter space.

Until next time...
